As it is a natural product, our blankets always require dry cleaning or hand washing. They can be hand washed with cold water and mild soap, without wringing, and then left to dry on a flat surface. They should never be put in the washing machine or dryer. If you wish to iron these types of garments, it is advisable to always use a towel on top to avoid direct heat and protect them.
